Adaptable Cargo Space
The Forester will always be a compact SUV, but that doesn't mean it lacks versatility in its interior design. With a redesigned cargo area that is now bigger and wider, you can fit your suitcases, golf-bags, and beach gear with ease. The 60/40-split folding rear seats fold flatter than ever before and include four tie-down hooks and utility hooks for added security. The Forester even includes an available automatic tailgate with closing and locking functions.
These LED headlights are standard on all trim levels. When set to auto, these headlights automatically turn on under low-light conditions. The LED headlights on all models cast a whiter and brighter beam for greater visibility under all conditions; select models also feature Steering Responsive Headlights, which follow the direction of the vehicle while cornering.
Talk about the best of all possible worlds: As before, the completely reengineered Subaru Forester features an available large power sunroof — but it also has more headroom than ever before. Now even the tallest folks can feel free to enjoy the panoramic view of the sky above and the fresh air. For extra-hot days, a manual sunshade blocks the sun and helps keep the cabin cooler.
Completing your trip with added comfort and quietness is the Forester's redesigned cabin space. More shoulder room is available for the driver and passenger, as well as more legroom for backseat passengers. On select trim levels you can find heated seats, 10-way power seat with lumbar support, and the co-driver receives an 8-way power seat.
